our story

Marc and Kim returned to Maryland in 2015 when Marc got stationed at Ft. Meade. They were previously living in Va Beach where they began and fell in love with CrossFit. “When our son left for bootcamp, we joined a CrossFit gym. Looking for something we could do together, something that would improve our lifestyle and make friends, and that’s exactly what we found!”
Marc is currently Active Duty with 24+ years of service. Marc has been active in sports and fitness his whole life. He had experience coaching little league football and loved coaching. He became a CrossFit coach because he loved the sport and friendly competition and wanted to give others the chance to love it as much as he does. “I love helping others reach their goals, and seeing them achieve their goals helps motivate me to continue to grow as a coach.”

Kim is a Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Department and Operating Room as well as weight loss clinics. Kim became interested in fitness in her early 20’s when she was a young mom and gaining weight. Coming from a family of obesity and chronic disease, she decided she wanted a different lifestyle. Always loving group classes and heavy weights, CrossFit was a natural transition. “I love the basics of CrossFit, eat healthy and move.” “Not everyone has the same goals, getting people to improve their lifestyle, make their health a priority and have fun are my goals”
