What is your sports/fitness background?
I was very much into triathlons and competed in many, the longest distance being a half IronMan! I also enjoy cycling ( have completed many metric century and century rides) and running (5K, 10K, half marathons, and 1 marathon).
What are your fitness goals?
My main goal is to be strong and healthy. I want to have the energy and stamina to travel and play with grandchildren I don’t have yet for decades to come!
What do you see as your greatest improvement?
My greatest improvements are my health (no longer pre-diabetic and cholesterol med cut in half – thanks to the 21 DSD), weight and inch loss, increased energy, better sleep, and stronger!
What is your favorite and least favorite workout?
I actually enjoy all of the workouts because of the variety of exercises, the challenge, and the great group of people I have met! I always leave the gym smiling and ready to attack the day!
How has your experience at CrossFit PCR affected your life?
Crossfit PCR has totally changed my life! Not only have I made improvements physically and mentally, I have gotten out of my exercise rut and am eating better. Even my husband is surprised at my commitment to getting up early to be at the 6:30am class!
What’s your favorite PCR memory so far?
My favorite memory so far is the support the 6:30am crew gave me to conquer my self-doubt about doing box jumps. I can do a few, then my head tells me I can’t. The crew tells me otherwise and keeps me trying!

As one of my middle school students would say, PCR is frawesome!
