One of the things you hear people talk about when they talk about the place they work out, especially with CrossFit or Functional Fitness gyms, is the “Community”
Every gym has a flavor that is unique to itself. That’s part of what makes CrossFit so successful. There is a place where everyone can go and feel at home.
A gym community is the atmosphere, interaction, and relationships each person has with the other members of the gym.
You spend several hours a week at the gym. Having friendly, supportive, and encouraging people to spend that time with is what makes the experience super fun, and keeps you coming back for more.
The community of a gym is all about its members. Each person working together to make the whole gym a better place.
The community at Ellicott City Health and Fitness is strong. Not only are our members amazing, but we all share the goal of improving our health and fitness for the long-term. Every member understands the importance of coaching and following a program. Everyone works hard and is focused, driven, and committed to their goals.
If you’re not smiling at some point during the day then you must not be at #thehappygym. Being able to enjoy the process, and the people is our way of helping you make health and fitness a habit you can stick with for the rest of your life.

This is not my first boot camp but it is the best one I have found. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful. My GF and I dropped in 3 times during holidays for Crossfit classes. We tried many Crossfit boxes during our USA trip and this one was our favorite. The classes really make you sweat, with a lot of variety and core exercises as well as interesting variations. I have seen huge progress during my training here within a few months, particularly in strength and mobility. This is one awesome community of athletes.
