What is your sports/fitness background?
I have done a few half marathons, running on my own, belonged to gyms and enjoyed Body Pump.
What are your fitness goals?
To continually be stronger in mind, body and spirit. I also like to set an example for my children – fitness is a regular commitment to be good to yourself, being physically fit and eating well.
What do you see as your greatest improvement?
My endurance! Now when I go for a run, I go faster and am less winded. I can feel my strength improving.
What is your favorite and least favorite workout?
Favorite – handstand push ups! Anything with the bar, push ups, pull ups and rope climbs.
Least – Ugh. Anything with jump rope and deadlifts and rowing
How has your experience at CrossFit PCR affected your life?
CrossFit has meant so much to me. I have made friends, and I constantly see that I am becoming stronger. The coaches and people there are so supportive and helpful to get all of us through workouts. Sometimes the workouts seem so daunting and overwhelming. But little by little, you get through the workout relying on your own tenacity and support from friends and coaches. Coach Jamie and Coach Bronson know just when to push us, correct us, and support us to be our best selves, both in and out of the gym. CrossFit is a very tangible way to see that, with hard work, you get just a little better every day.

Getting my first strict pull up. And any workout where my children cheer me on
