From Coach Bronson: If you look up “driven” in the dictionary, Jason’s picture will be there. He has set goals for himself and is determined to reach them. Jason is very coachable, and understands that nothing happens over night. He pushes himself hard within the framework of the program. Jason is very good at trusting the process and it has done him well. If you ever need motivation in a workout, get him in your corner, you’ll have plenty.

What is your sports/fitness background?
I have always played sports growing up, mainly lacrosse. I have been involved in some type of group training for the last 5 years and 1 year in Crossfit

What are your fitness goals?
I want to continue to build strength and develop lean muscle. I basically want to challenge Father Time and stay young!

What do you see as your greatest improvement?
My overall strength and muscle stamina has significantly improved. I hit PRs in deadlift, push jerk, squat, and bench over the summer…and I have hit a number of time/rep-count PRs on repeat workouts.

What is your favorite and least favorite workout?
Favorite is upper body—pull-ups, bench, push-ups, kettle bell swings…least favorite is front squats or overhead squats…

How has your experience at EC Health and Fitness affected your life?
I have made great friends, improved my strength and fitness, and even gotten my daughter involved which makes it even more fun. It is my happy place!

What’s your favorite ECHF memory so far? Probably my first Crossfit Open workout.
Being there with all the members and everyone supporting and pushing each other. It was awesome!
