What is your sports/fitness background?
I competitively swam for 12 years.  I started running about 10 years ago and have done a few half marathons and triathalons.  I got into weight training about 4 years ago.  I did a Kettlebell class a few days a week for about 3 years.
What are your fitness goals?
To be able to do toes to bar and an actual rope climb within the next 6 months.
What do you see as your greatest improvement?
Strength.  In the 6 months that I’ve been here, I’ve been able to do stuff that I’ve never been able to do before (body weight pull ups and chin ups).
What is your favorite and least favorite workout?
Anything involving squats is my least favorite workout.   Partner workouts are my favorite, especially if they involve running :).
How has your experience at CrossFit PCR affected your life?
Having 3 kids and working full time can be stressful.  It’s a stress relief for me to work out.  Coming to PCR makes me happier and it gives me time to focus on myself.  I love the friends that I’ve made and the friends my kids have made.  My kids ask to come to the gym!
What’s your favorite PCR memory so far?
The back-to-back galloping on Halloween.  I had tears from laughing so hard.
In 1 word, summarize your PCR experience.
Empowering.
