What is your sports/fitness background?
I played baseball until I was 25 along with softball til my late 30s.  I have finished 10 triathlons.  I have attempted 3 swims across the Chesapeake Bay and completed 2 of them.  I had to be rescued once with 95% of the other swimmers.  I completed 1 marathon and hundreds of 5K and 10K races.  And now as I have gotten older, I play as much golf as possible.
What brought you to PCR?
I was spending hours on a stair climber in the gym but just wanted something more.  I flipped past a Spartan Race on TV which lead to the discovery of Crossfit through some google searches.  I found a series of videos “Killing the Fatman” and I was hooked.  I looked for a Box near me and PCR was just opening up so I met Bronson and Jamie and have been a member ever since.
What are your fitness goals?
To get in better shape and lose some weight; but the dieting is harder than the workouts because I love all the “bad for you” foods. To hit a 300 yard drive.  One thing that has improved is my distances with the golf clubs. .
What do you see as your greatest improvement?
Weight lifting in general.  I was a cardio person so I rarely lifted weights.
What is your favorite and least favorite workout?
My favorite workouts are chippers (Filthy Fifty, etc) I don’t always finish but I love the difficulty of them.  Over Head Squats would be my least favorite.  Although I did have a good set of them recently so maybe I’ll start to like them or dread them less.
What’s your favorite PCR memory so far?
There are many but they seem to all involve the same thing, the atmosphere of helping and encouraging from the other members and coaches.  I try to reciprocate by cheering and encouraging others on too.
In 1 word, summarize your PCR experience.
Awesome.  I am really glad I found the program.
