What is your sports/fitness background?
I never played sports growing up, but I was a dancer for about 13 years altogether. I’ve done ballet, jazz, tap…just about about any form of dance.
Prior to starting Crossfit, I did Yoga for about 6 months.
What are your fitness goals?
I would like to get better at my oly lifts and be a better runner.
What do you see as your greatest improvement?
My endurance is better since I’ve started…I can lift more weight than I used to be able to and I have a lot more upper body strength now compared to when I first started.
What is your favorite and least favorite workout?
My favorite workouts include anything with a barbell…but the deadlift and snatch are my favorites when it comes to lifting.
My least favorite workouts include anything with an animal name in it, burpees, wallballs, box jumps, handstands…etc.
How has your experience at CrossFit PCR affected your life?
I feel more focused since beginning Crossfit and I have more energy than I used to.
What’s your favorite PCR memory so far?
Back in the fall, we did a team workout with the sleds where we pushed each other on the sleds, and then we took turns doing something else…I don’t remember what else we did. I think it was much fun being pushed around on the sled and then pushing other people on the sled. We need more sled workouts since the weather is getting better.
