What is your sports/fitness background?
I’ve played badminton and basketball, I was a runner for a about a year. I did Cardio Zumba for three years.

What are your fitness goals?
My goal is to be healthy and strong. I want to be fit to be able to easily go through my daily tasks. Good health is absolutely essential to life and having it is the ultimate goal.

What do you see as your greatest improvement?
Having better posture and form. Losing 32 pounds and feeling stronger. I’ve been able to build muscle and lose fat during the 21 day sugar detox as well as consistently rocking CrossFit 3 days a week. Also going through a workout without feeling like I’m going to pass out and finishing strong is the best feeling, I love it!

What is your favorite and least favorite workout?
Favorite workout: box jumps. Least favorite: burpees.

How has your experience at EC Health and Fitness affected your life?
When I walked in ECHF about a year ago I was out of shape, struggling with weight-gain and felt I was heading toward being more and more unhealthy. Consistent CrossFit combined with the help of Jamie’s nutrition guidance has been fundamental to my progress. I have much more energy and feel confident I’m benefiting from my workouts. You are what you eat! Also, I leave the box happy every time, which impacts how the rest of my day goes. Outside of the box, I’m aware of the way I need to move my body, it has made a tremendous impact on my life

What’s your favorite ECHF memory so far?
When I PR’d a one rep max squat clean thruster. Jamie recorded it and sent it to me. I watched it a million times. Best feeling!!!
